With a background in international trade, entrepreneurship, and international maritime training, Ebrahim Hoosen founded Flomotion Training and Consultancy in 2010. Combining extensive experience in the corporate world, community-based grassroots activism, and decades of experience in Reiki, Tai Chi, and Martial Arts, Ebrahim set out to found a company with the aim of fostering holistic human development in an entrepreneurship and corporate setting.
Flomotion is a Project Management, Training and Consultancy company. It is an ETDP SETA accredited Training Provider (Accreditation number: ETDP10515). It also has Department of Labour approval for its First Aid training programmes (CI167/3/12/1). In a corporate environment, the human factor is often overlooked, and the wider social responsibility of business is neglected. In order to redress this imbalance, Flomotion focuses on training that both benefits companies and contributes to the personal and social growth of clients. Flomotion has access to a faculty of highly qualified consultants to deliver its courses. These lecturers are not only academics, but specialists actively involved in their respective fields.
Our project management and consultancy services are primarily focused in the building, construction and maintenance industries. We have successfully implemented Routine Road Maintenance for Kwagga Holdings Civil Engineering and Building contractors; the Transport Education and Training Authority (TETA); and the Gauteng Provincial Government. We have also been recognised for delivering Maritime Training Project Management services to STC-Southern Africa, and more recently to our Corporate Social Investment (CSI) initiative, Flomotion Victim Empowerment Programme (FVEP).
